How to Set Goals


 

As I write this… we are currently a little under 2 weeks into the new year.

I know that when most people talk about setting NEW goals and resolutions for the New Year’s… most of the time it’s just a waste of time.

After all… how many times have you heard about the young woman who sets a goal to go the gym 3x a week and lose those extra pounds… only to quit going to the gym 6 weeks into it???

But guess what friend… it doesn’t need to be like that! Goals don’t need to suck… or be something you do that doesn’t work… but you just keep doing it out of habit.

When it comes to learning how to set goals… we have the POWER to set goals which will virtually guarantee us success in almost any area or arena of life that we want to go after!

There are four main areas that we want to learn how to set goals in:

1. Health – Be at a healthy weight, exercise, get good sleep, stop stressing, etc.
2. Wealth – Have the career or the business you seek, save money, build for your future, etc.
3. Relationships – Find that perfect someone, marriage, friends, etc.
4. Spirituality – Prayer, peace, meditation, healing, becoming closer to God.

…and depending on what stage of life you are in — you may need to focus your goals on one of the main areas more than others.

If you haven’t already — make at least 3 to 10 goals this year. Write them on a sheet of paper… and put them in a place where you will see it at least 3x a day.

Look at those goals you set everyday. Feel the excitement of reaching those set goals. If you do those things — you will be virtually unstoppable in this New Year!

Now you know how to set goals — so go make things happen baby!
