Hey all, it’s Daniel Wiafe back again… with some daily motivation to help you get your day up, moving and rocking in the BEST way possible!
This post marks our 50th blog post… (we started in late May 2011) and we are excited… and patting ourselves on the back… because it can be a hard task at times keeping up this blog. 🙂
In life — we will all face adversity, disappointment, failures and huge losses… from time to time.
In fact… sometimes these seasons that we go through can become overwhelming to us… especially when those disappointments happen to us back to back.
But what I have discovered is that in life you and I must purposely go out there sometimes… and you must pat yourself on the back.
Patting yourself on the back — means that you take time out of your day to celebrate your victories… to celebrate your accomplishments… to celebrate your wins.
Because like many of you reading this, I’ve been there before — where I felt like giving up. I have the battle wounds to show. But guess what friend, I made it out of the darkness and into the light… and YOU WILL TOO!
But just the very fact that you are here today — in the land of the living… that you are breathing… that you have the full activity in your limbs… that you have a roof over your head… and clothes on your back… are some major things that you can be proud of.
So today… if you are going through some overwhelming odds and adversities in your life… take a step back from all that is negative… and pat yourself on the back.
Remember those wins that you’ve had in life in the past. Write down how you feel in a journal… and then after that, write down all your wins. This will encourage you and give you hope that there is in fact, a light at the end of the tunnel… and that you too can and will make it!
