“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” (Paul, Philippians 4:6)
Good morning everybody…. it’s Daniel Wiafe here again, your personal motivation coach… here with some high-energy motivation to get you going on your day!
Today, we will keep this post short… and discuss why you shouldn’t be anxious about anything in this life…
And for many of you reading this right now, it seems like a good thing to say (that you shouldn’t be anxious)… and some of you may be saying right now, “But Daniel, it’s easy for you to say don’t be anxious about anything… but that’s a pretty HARD feat for me to pull off!”
And my response to those people would be: “You’re VERY correct… it is hard to do and implement… but nothing worth value in your life comes without hard work or effort on your part”
Let’s first look at the definition of the word, anxiety:
1. Experiencing worry, unease, or nervousness, typically about an imminent event or something with an uncertain outcome.
2. Causing or characterized by worry or nervousness.
So after reading that definition, I know that if you are like me… you will definitely agree that it probably sucks (excuse my language)… to be in a perpetual state of anxiety, worry, nervousness and worry!
…and if you’re like me, you’ll probably agree that it behooves us NOT to be people who live and dwell in anxiety. 🙂
The apostle Paul, in his writings to the Philippian people… tells us that we shouldn’t be anxious about a single thing in this world.
His remedy to anxiety — is to take all of our requests, worry, requests and uncertainties in life to God.
My friend, when we take all of our burdens over to God and place it into his hands… the weight is lifted off of us. You will feel better, you will feel lighter, you will feel all the stress and worry lift off of you.
Make it a habit not to worry about a thing or be anxious about any event. Give it to God, expect the best and everything will go the way it should in the end.
Be blessed and have a great day! Make sure to sign up right now for my weekly newsletter at the top-left hand side of the site.
